Purpose of the training
Upon successful completion of the training, the trainee will be able to prepare machine programs off-line using CAD data information as input. Off-line component creation and virtual placement verification are also part of the training.

Training Description
Duration
This is a 4 days training course conducted at the Yamaha Robotics Business Training Center in Neuss (Germany) or at the customer location. For complete groups from one customer, content and duration can be adapted to tailor customer needs.
Participants Profile
The course is suitable for personnel responsible to generate running programs from CAD data. Participants should have received the YS, YSM, YRM Series user training or have some years of experience as YS, YSM or YRM Series users. Also extensive knowledge of computers is necessary.

Operator Training
Purpose of the training
Upon successful completion of the training, the trainee will be able to load components onto a feeder, load feeder set-up in the machine and start production program using Yamaha YSM, YRM, iPulse or Sigma Series equipment.

Duration
This is a 1 day training course conducted at the customer location.
Participants Profile
The course is suitable for machine operators responsible for machine set-up preparation and production start. It’s desirable that participants have basic knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) and computer controlled machines.

Prevented Maintenance Agreement
Service Agreements
Yamaha Robotics Business offers two types of standard Service Agreements for each of its products:
- Preventive Maintenance Agreement
- Extended Warranty Agreement
Prevented Maintenance Agreement
On regular intervals, Yamaha Robotics Business certified engineers perform the full maintenance of the equipment including full calibration. Recommendation is to execute a full Preventive Maintenance each 2000 running hours.
Duration
Minimum duration for an Preventive Maintenance Agreement is one year. There is no limit for the maximum duration.
Execution
Upon mutual agreement with the customer, Yamaha Robotics Business certified engineer(s) will visit customer’s factory. During that visit, the engineer performs the preventive maintenance actions designed to keep the machine in optimal running condition. Preventive Maintenance parts are exchanged and Maintenance Checklist is followed to ensure all critical and wear and tear elements are checked.

Preventive Maintenance Agreement includes:
- Yearly (or half-yearly) Preventive Maintenance visit
- Manpower for Preventive Maintenance action
- Travel & Lodging
- Preventive Maintenance parts
- Preventive Maintenance Report with suggested improvements
- Special daily rate for corrective actions during validity of the contract

Quality Certification
Quality Certification
Yamaha Robotics Business Quality Certification is a unique service in the SMT industry. With this service you have no concern about unexpected extra cost due to machine refurbishment or major parts replacement after a certain amount of running hours. Yamaha Robotics will certify the maximum cost for spare parts, excl. consumable parts* you will have with your new Yamaha equipment is limited to 1,5 % of your initial investment per annum. Guaranteed no extra cost to your company when the conditions are met. The Quality Certification is valid for all Yamaha Robotics Business new equipment portfolio, including screen printer, dispenser, component mounter and AOI.
Duration
When conditions are met, Quality Certification is ensured for up to 8 years after the machine installation.
Conditions
Every year a Yamaha Robotics Business certified engineer performs a Preventive Maintenance of the equipment including full calibration. The calibration certificate will be your proof that the machine is according the Quality Certification. The machine is used in a safe environment and the environmental conditions specified in Machine Specifications document are met. Equipment users are trained by Yamaha Robotics Business certified engineers. Consumables* and feeder parts are excluded from the certification.

Training Method
To ensure that the course objectives are met, a combination of presentations and hands-on practice sections are conducted by an experience professional instructor. Training machines at our Training Center in Neuss are only used for training purposes, allowing the trainees to disassemble important sections of the machines.
Training Description
Duration
This is a 4 days training course conducted at the Yamaha Robotics Business Training Center in Neuss (Germany). For complete groups from one customer, content and duration can be adapted to tailor customer needs.
Participants Profile
The course is suitable for maintenance technicians responsible for regular line maintenance and first line trouble shooting and repair. It is also suitable for factory maintenance supervisors that need to be familiar with the YS Series maintenance and repair requirements. Participants should have attended the YS Series User training or should have some years of experience as users of YS Series machines.
