ProTass B.V., a prominent and successful EMS service provider from Eindhoven, has recently installed several new machines in collaboration with EUROPE-SMT. This expansion increases ProTass’s production capacity and modernizes the third SMT production line. With the implementation of YAMAHA/Assembleon MG1 and MG8 Mounters (Europe-SMT), a screen printer, and various new conveyors, loaders, and unloaders (KVMS), ProTass’s production receives the desired boost from Director Jos Kivits.

Operator User Training – Part of ProTass’s Onboarding Process
Europe SMT is conducting an Interactive Operator User Training session at ProTass PCB Assemblage in Eindhoven. Our Technician/Trainer Luc Crols is shown in action in the photo below.
Topics covered during the training include:
- Safe machine operation
- Location, function, and control of key machine sections
- Loading feeders, splicing methods, and performing minor maintenance tasks
- Turning the machine on/off, run modes, and error messages
At the end of the training, participants will receive a personal certificate and will be well-prepared to operate the machine effectively.

EUROPE-SMT has delivered an Opal XII and an Emerald XII + LCS to Pager Services. The company develops and produces communication tools that protect and save lives. The pagers are used in critical environments where every second counts.
The investment in two Pick and Place machines was made to speed up the cycle time of the prototyping process and it offers the organization extra flexibility in the development & production process of the communication tools.

A1 Electronics invests in three new YAMAHA machines
EUROPE-SMT delivered and installed two new YCP10 screen printers and a new YSM20R mounter to A1 Electronics Netherlands B.V. in Almelo.
With this expansion, A1 Electronics moves to two YAMAHA SMD production lines. The new YCP10 screen printer takes screen printing to a higher level.
The renewed 3S head (Swing Single Squeegee), stencil vacuum and the cleaning process ensure an optimal print result.

We congratulate Electro-Watt on the purchase of a new YCP10. Since 1947, Electro-Watt has had experience in assembling electronics for a wide range of applications, from medical equipment and elevators to traffic control systems and electronic controls. You encounter their work more often than you might think.
We also want to congratulate them on their 75th anniversary this year. Over the years, the company has been a loyal customer of Europe-SMT, with a machine park consisting of 7 P&P machines, and we are proud of that!
As described on the website of Electro-Watt, good customers are important, but good relationships are even more important. Earlier, significant steps were taken with the addition of a new YCP10 screen printer. The YAMAHA printer is a high-performance compact printer capable of handling the smallest chips, 0201-03025 mm. With the 3S (Single, Swing, Squeegee) head, the attack angle can be adjusted per degree (between 45 and 65 degrees). And all of this comes at an ultra-low price.
